Contacts and organizations
Keep every customer's details and history together.
Contacts
A contact is a person who writes to you. Contacts are created automatically the first time someone emails you, or you can add one by hand.
Each contact has a profile with their name, email, phone, company, and internal notes that are never visible to the contact. Below it is every ticket they have raised, which you can filter by status to see only open, pending, resolved, or closed ones.
Keep your directory tidy
- Merge a contact into a duplicate record.
- Export selected contacts to CSV, or delete several at once.
- Import contacts from a CSV file. See Import and export your data.
Organizations
An organization is a company. Give it a primary domain, and people who write from that domain are linked to it. You can add further domains if the company uses more than one.
When several contacts share an email domain, nabudesk suggests the company. Accept the suggestion to create the organization and link those contacts in one step.
An organization page shows its details, internal notes your team can see, and its linked contacts. Deleting an organization does not delete its contacts.
